The continuation of our plant experiments...

Plant science experiments in Room 1:  Our prediction is that all the plants, except for the one that is getting light water and air, will die. Stay tuned...

The children are loving Teach your Monster to read.  It's a great free game that you can use at home. Our whole class is registered and they get great posters and free e-books.

For his birthday Ewan donated some books and a game to the class.  Thank you.

Worms

After a rainy weekend a whole lot of worms made our playground home.  Some of our friends were finding piles of worms.  They were very proud to show them off.

Pasghetti and meatballs

The children have been working on creating a restaurant in our dramatic area.  They have made the menus, made the money and worked on serving meals.  In response to it the children chose to pick one food item off the menu to eat today and they picked spaghetti and meatballs.  So there it is 21 children eating "pasghetti" and meatballs.

New additions to the classroom

Our new Zebra tetras.  We have 5.

Our second beta fish Licorice.

3 new neon tetras

The tetras are so fast that Mrs. Dos Santos had to grab quick pictures and edit them so we could see where the fish were.

A couple of our boys decided to organize a race across the back of the playground.  They had fun racing some kids on bikes too.....on foot won.
